Masonic brothers living in southern France have limited opportunities to participate in freemasonry work in their home country.

Therefore, at the initiative of the brothers Anders Aspegrén and Kurt Boström, 9 brothers met on  October 6, 2007 to form a Freemasonry Association for Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Icelandic brothers related to the Côte d'Azur.

The association was named the Society Provincia. The goal is to have four meetings a year, three with invited speakers and one with a excursion with our ladies.

The association developed well with a good influx of the members, and Grandmaster of the Sweedish Order of Freemasons, Anders Strömberg, approved the formation of the Freemason Club Provincia January 1, 2014.

The Freemason Club has today more than 90 member. The club coordinates visits to French, English and Italian lodges.
